New functions through FACT24 CIM release V.24.01

We are happy to announce improvements with the following new features concerning FACT24 CIM. To provide you with a better overview, we have set up this article to give you a detailed description of the updates with screenshots. These functionalities will be available to you from 29th of February 2024 on.

  1. Templates for Incident Boards

The crisis management teams on all levels can now prepare a wide selection of listed content in templates in the incident boards. After creating a new incident you can populate an incident board with predefined content with a click of a button. This is especially useful when using incident boards to track status of e.g. IT systems or other elements. You can combine a list of predefined entries with manual entries. Predefined entries are unique to each board, giving you the opportunity to have overviews and lists in various setups without the risk of importing content belonging to a different board into another.

  1. Access Control to Incident Boards

Incident boards on all levels has now the possibility to be access controlled based on role and type of incident. We have included access control matrixes to the admin section in order to assign permissions based on roles and incident types. Thus, you can customise and enable incident boards only relevant to the different incident types.

  1. Categorization Options

Messages, tasks and persons of concern can now be categorized in the admin area. This enables better segmentation of data and properties. E.g. an airline can now say whether the persons of concern (persons in an aircraft) are passengers, flight crew or cabin crew.

  1. Option of "Reject task"

It is now possible to choose whether an assignee of a task is allowed to reject a task or not.

  1. Update regarding action card library

The role 'CIM Administrator' can now also view and edit action cards across all levels and scopes.
